Tolda is inspired by the wooden flooring of boats, characterized by black stripes which serve to seal the joints and give the slats the necessary expandability. In the nautical dictionary Tolda is the upper deck of a boat. The irregular stripes’ rhythm breaks the flow of the oak essence, giving the texture a marked but ordered accent, due to its linear composition.
